ARAB GOVERNMENTS REFUSE TO BACK ALGERIA ON ANTITERRORISM INITIATIVE
Arab governments have rejected Algeria's request to set up an Arab-wide antiterrorist office. The proposition was made by the Algerian interior minister, Mr. Yazid Zerhouni to his Arab counterparts. The issue of creating such office has been in discussion among law enforcement authorities for at least two years but Arab countries have always to cooperate among each other.
