The release of Al Magrahi from a Scotish jail and his return to Libya have led to outrage in the United States and a state of euphoria in Libya. The Europeans have been less concerned about the issue, although pressure is likely to increase on the Scottish government, in particular to pave the way for the possible resignation justice minister Kenny MacAskill. While the debate goes, our own Deputy Editor Alessandro Bruno weighs in with this interview with CTV and on Global Journalist Radio, among the various ones he has given on the topic and others.

Mr. Bruno makes sense. Ive been living in London since slightly before the event and not too many of my friends in the UK buy the theory that Migrahi was behind it.
