Mediterranean School of Business Launches Executive Business Seminar in Tripoli, Libya
Tunis-based Mediterranean School of Business is offering a set of seminars this summer targeted to Libyan managers. MSB, in collaboration with the BT Server Business Management Training Center, is launching four modules, starting with Organization and Change Management, Financial Analysis for Non Financial Managers, Innovation and technology Management, and ending with Marketing and Customer Relationship. Each module will be lectured over a 3 to 4-day session.
The North Africa Journal learned that on June 15, the school will kick off its summer session with a 4-day seminar titled Organization and Change Management. This module deals with managing people and organizations for high performance. The program is divided into two main topics, organizational design and change management. Specific topics include open systems organizational analysis, technology, effects of national culture on organizational forms, problem diagnosis, change implementation, resistance to change, the role of change agents, changing the ethical climate, and managing organizational culture.
The second module, Financial Analysis for Non Financial Managers, will be offered on July 12 to 15 with the objective to training non-financial managers on reading and interpreting firms’ financial statements and annual reports; as well as to provide them with an understanding of the issues driving firms’ financing and investment decisions. Innovation and technology Management is the school’s third offering from July 26 to 28, to provide executives with the tools and skills to understand and manage technology and innovation from a strategic and organizational point of view. The course aims at integrating the management of technological, organizational and market changes to support the development of new products and services, introduce new processes, and create new businesses.
Finally, a Marketing and Customer Relationship course will be offered on October 18 to introduce managers to the basic concepts of Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). All concepts relate to business strategy aimed at acquiring, retaining and building a long term relationship with the customers. It requires the use of IT to achieve the objective of profitability through enhanced customer relations.

Algeria has to open a school of business in every Algerian University as soon as possible, in order to succeed as a modern and industrial country.
Programs of international standards have to be tailored, and taught in English.
