Sonatrach Invests in New LNG Facilities

Two projects are currently being planned that would boost by 30% the Algerian firm Sonatrach’s production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) over the next few years.

One of the two projects is the construction of a new production plant in Skikda, eastern Algeria to add another 4.5 million tons of LNG per year. That plant is scheduled to go on line by 2011. Read here or subscribe here.
