Maroc Telecom Struggles under Competitive Pressure

Analysts who follow the company say its profitability is impacted by lower
mobile margins in Morocco. In its domestic market, combined revenues for the
first nine months of this year dropped by -3.4% compared to the same period in
2010. Revenues generated from its African subsidiaries were up 6.8% over the
period despite tough competition in Gabon and a toughening regulatory
