This was no doubt of epic proportions, the biggest earthquake to hit Japan since records began. Japan's Meteorological Agency says the quake struck with a magnitude of 8.8 on the Richter scale. Then that event was followed by deadly Tsunami waves hitting Japan from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south.
