| Welcome to the on-line site of The North Africa Journal.
The objective of our weekly and monthly publications is to provide analyses and commentary on North African affairs with focus on the areas of business and economics. Our country focus is Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia which are part of a region called the Maghreb. In the near future, we will include Libya, Mauritania and Egypt to cover the North Africa region as a whole. The journal's objective is also to review the major non business activities that have a clear impact on the economy. Political and social analyses are included within the economic and business context in order to bring additional insight and understanding of events that shape North Africa's economies. The North Africa Journal has no political or ideological affiliation. It is a privately owned enterprise based in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. Its writers and contributors are experts engaged in various corporate and academic activities in the Maghreb, North America, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere. And all of them are interested in the pursuit of the facts and the truth. While we are committed to bring you the best information and analyses on North Africa, your participation and support in building the journal are necessary. Therefore, we wish to hear your comments on our efforts as well as your suggestions for the future. We encourage you to send us your thoughts, suggestions, ideas, criticism, and why not, praises! On behalf of everyone at The North Africa Journal, thank you for your time and patronage. Yours Truly,
